Sony A7s. Can the same principle used on the aps-c sensor?

Hi all,

If I am reading the articles correctly sony made a decision to improve low light sensitivity with their A7s model trading some of the resolution.

To be honest I find my self belonging into the club "I do not need higher resolution I need better quality" 6MPixels full frame cameras were enough years before for major events like wedding photography and photographers were able to do large prints with lower Mpixels than the 20,24,30 something current cameras support.

I was wondering though if there are any rumours the same principle to be used also for an aps-c camera. I would be gladly to trade my resolution which I find that it justs make too large files anyway to get something which is less noisy.

Do you know if we are gonna see something like that in the future?

I would like to thank you in advance for your reply

Regards

Alex
