What the Sony RX 100 III Reminds Me Of
1

I received my Sony RX 100 III today, and what a beautiful camera it is. Almost at once it occurred to me how very much it was like the Rollei 35 I owned by in the '60s-'70s, a camera I hadn't thought of in decades. The more I handled it, the more the similarity in size, feel, and function struck me. My complements to you if like me, you remember it.

Although I haven't taken any real pictures with the RX 100 III, I can say that the reviews I've read don't do justice to how well this camera is made and how bright the EVF is. The Rollei was never a great camera, but it was easy to take with you, and if there is one absolute truth in photography, it's that the best camera is the one you have with you.

The Rollei 35 - a little banged up like most them came to be
