What to do about dust inside canon EFS 18-55mm lens?

I have two black flecks of dust inside my EFS 18-55mm Canon lens. I know they are inside the lens as opposed to on the sensor, as I can see them inside when I detach the lens. They also show up as dust spots on ALL my photos (I've attached a photo of the sky to demonstrate.) I don't think lens cleaning is covered by the Canon warranty and I've been warned that sending the lens to Canon to be cleaned can cost pretty much the same as buying a new lens, which just isn't an option for me. I'd really appreciate any help or advice with this. I've only had my Canon 1100D for a year and I don't know a huge amount about cameras. HELP PLEASE!
