New mirrorless are superior at AF tracking than DSLRs

Not for difficult situations. The Camera Store is making an absurd claim. Why didn't they include comparably priced DSLR's? Why not try a team sport in tougher lighting with shallow DOF? Using these smaller sensored cameras in full daylight, with small aperture lenses, was enough to discredit the test based on DOF alone, even ignoring the totally predictable action.

That was exactly the case

He performed a lot of tests on various kinds of subject far and near. To claim he is didn't know what he was doing seems absurd, given The Camera Store has been reviewing cameras for several years on youtube.

In any case, he isn't the only one who has stated that new mirrorless cameras can track AF just as good or better than DSLRs. Read all recent DPR reviews.

Yes I can also say my K5 shooting at 16mm F8 can focus as fast a D4 which it can but its not much of a challenge to af under these kind of conditions matter of fact you could MF with about the same keep rate.

DSLR show their true advantage under condition that most sport and wildlife photographers need AF shallow DOF, low light, subjects that change direction with varying speed, and multiple targets in the FOV. This would be a true way to compare Put a 300 2.8 on a mirrorless and see how it handles accurate it can track

The Camera is only a tool, photography is deciding how to use it.
The hardest part about capturing wildlife is not the photographing portion; it’s getting them to sign a model release
