Well, it's out of stock now.

Would you buy a reconditioned lens? I'm a little anxious about that....

I bought a reconditioned E-M5 and 12-50mm lens a few months ago.  Now, I did have a problem with it (EVF went dim) and I had bought the extended warranty and it was covered.  Since then, I've seen other people with EVF problems with E-M5 (and E-M1 as well) and many of them were new owners.  So I can't say it was due to it being a reconditioned camera.

You do get a 90 day warranty to cover immediate failures.  There is an extended warranty for lenses, but at $80 it doesn't make sense for the 40-150mm.

In 2005, I bought a reconditioned 50-200mm and I still use it.

However, if you don't feel comfortable with reconditioned lenses, order a new lens.
