Canon G15 and Sony A3500
Our local Aussie store is selling the Sony A3500 (slight variant of the A3000) at a really good price. I currently own a Canon G15 which is nice but I've always wanted a large sensor camera as well but finances are limited as I'm a pensioner. My question relates to the Sony as the kit lens is only f4 at the wide end while the Canon (much smaller sensor 1/1.7) is f1.8. i.e over 2 stops brighter. I gather that if I'm shooting in low light with the A3500 at say iso 1600, the G15 would only be at iso 400, all things being equal. Also the A3500 lens doesn't have optical stabilisation. Do you think the A3500 would still be better in low light?
