my understanding is that adi data comes from the lens, not the flash... the camera takes adi data, combines it with ttl feedback, and then sets the flash exposure(??).

someone posted out here that the a7* series doesn't have adi capability, fwiw.

for the most part, i like my f60m, it's a flamethrower, but given the horrible rep it has for overheating, i wouldn't want to depend on it in a wedding situation.

i would keep the nikon around for flash use.
