Sigma DPM 3 Color Shift Problem - YELLOW

Yesterday a friend who operates a commercial flower farm asked me to shoot some photos of his new "yellow" peonies variety for his website and sales brochures.

I used my Sigma DPM 3.  The yellows I got were not at all what the actual flower looked like (see photos).

The actual flower was a light yellow, almost a pastel.  The  DPM 3 image's hue was a darker, richer and more over saturated yellow.  The images I took looked nice, but were not accurate and true to the original pale yellow pastel-like color of the actual flowers.

Any suggestions on how to correct this, or should I just forget about shooting yellows when nailing the exact color/hue/saturation is required?

is critical?

Thanks,
