Weatherproofing on the D600
I have an outdoor event to shoot this weekend, and it's supposed to thunderstorm from Thursday to Sunday.
I'll be bringing my D600, and probably sticking with two lenses: Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 AF-D (push-pull) and Tamron 28-75 f/2.8. I'll also be using a rain cover, but I've never used the cover in anything more than a light drizzle before.
I'm expecting three days of heavy, persistent rain. How much should I trust the sealing on the body? And I know the Tamron isn't sealed, but how is the sealing on the 80-20-? Thats's what will probably be mounted the most, at least in the rain.
