Keeping camera control once tethered with Live View
Recently just got more involved in photography and been acquiring gear left and right for the past couple months and trying to set up a little studio in my house. Discovered tethering and for the life of me, could not figure out how to control my camera once I was tethered using Live View (using my triggers for example)
I have wireless triggers on my strobes and camera so I can take strictly timed photos (alone with no assistant). So I found out much late in the game that this is not possible for Nikons. Sole control is strictly on the computer. Are only Canon's able to retain camera control once tethered? Will Nikon change this in the future or is there already a fix for this?
(The usb/bluetooth mouse/powerpoint clicker alternative is not responsive or accurate enough for me)
