15mm 1.7 is much sharper than the 17mm 1.8!

Who care`s, the Olympus 17mm is plenty sharp enough for most of us.

That's not the correct attitude for a gear forum such as this. You speak as if you care about shooting actual pictures more than you care about numbers being posted on various websites.

Seroously, though, it is good news that the 15 looks as though it shapes up well. 14-15 is a nice focal length, albeit a bit long!
