Watching the 197. (1 img)
After my friend had finished shooting a sequence of approaching Amtrak images he kicked back and watched as the 197 rolled by. I was over by the pond trying to capture very small birds in flight with my Pentax K-3 + Sigma 70-210mm f2.8 OS HSM lens when I turned and took this shot.
That danged Amtrak was running late. My friend had waited three hours to get his sequence of shots.
Ron - 'We don't have time to go take pics this afternoon Carl.'
Carl - 'What do you mean? It will only take 1/1000s.'
'Keep your eyes looking forward. However, glance back now and then to see where you've come from. It will put a smile on your face.' ~ brandrx
