Butterflies, Bees, Birdies with the 100-300 on the GH4

Yesterday I tried something different. Parked the truck at roadside near a patch of wild cherries and just watched. Ended up spending an hour popping a 100+ frames and being interviewed by a Provincial Police Officer who was wondering what I was doing there.

This is what I was doing:

White faced Dragonfly (?) checks out Bracken Fern

Little bee on clump of cherry.

Big bee on approach

Tiger Swallowtail

Hummingbird Clearwing Moth approaches for some nectar

Proboscis extended

American Redstart stops by to inspect the activies

unidentified Dragonfly stops by on an Elm leaf

Song sparrow serenades me a few minutes later from a (dying) tree in my driveway.

I think I learned to just pause and enjoy the moment, letting the beasties regain their normal activity.

Either that or they also enjoyed the music I was listening to on the radio!
