EOS-M : Roses and Rainbows (PICS)

Two roses from Kate's garden.  It was overcast (normally I don't like overcast days) so the wide aperture gave a shallow depth of field plus a nice luminous quality to the roses.  I went there to photograph a large spider but these roses were much prettier.  Nothing particularly "arty" here - in fact I didn't expect them to look pretty enough to keep.  A rainbow came out later in the day as the sun was setting.

Rainbow at sunset - from my car

Swordfish for lunch. Probably should have focused on the near end of the fish.

I think my wife's lipstick was left behind on the far side of the mug

It was pretty dark in this room... and my cat is black.

Looks like Rena is walking these... but no, she's passing a guy walking two little Chihuahuas

I like getting shots like this... no blown-out highlights or overbearing shadows.

Technically, this is a BAD photograph... it's not worth clicking on because it's neither sharp nor detailed.  But it shows you hard it is for me to work on my computer when the cat is on the keyboard tray.
