Flash sync speed of X-E2

According to the FujiFilm X-E2 manual :

"Flash Sync Speed - The flash will synchronize with the shutter at shutter speeds of 1/180s or slower."

When I take photo in my dark room with flash :

- When shutter speed 1/250s, photo okay

- When shutter speed 1/500s, upper half photo with lilght, lower half photo is dark

- When shutter speed 1/1000s, photo with very little upper part with light, nearlly whole photo is dark

- when shutter speed 1/2000s, whole photo is dark

Is it normal ?
