DRO, RAW, Exposure Question
I posted a similar question in the Cybershot forum but felt there are probably DRO experts in the SLT forum so here goes.
My RX10 allows me to turn on DRO when shooting exclusively RAW. What effect does DRO have on the RAW data when shooting exclusively RAW? (it does effect the imbedded JPG and the histogram derived from this embedded JPG)
Do Alpha cameras allow use of DRO when shooting exclusively RAW?
Does DRO ever modify exposure (SS, f stop)? (eg: reduce exposure for extremely contrasty scenes to prevent blown highlights)
TIA for any light thrown on this subject,
