Fast, high quality, and long zooms are going to be BIG, heavy, and costly. They are not compatible with m4/3's strength. I have some modest goals:

WA primes that are good and 9-18 mm/f4?
25/1.8 OIS
35-100/3.5 OIS?

? 9-18 F4....we already have a 7-14 and another one is coming.
25 f1.8....Is alreadyt here.
35-100 F2.8 or F3.5...what is the big difference.

That is somehow more needed than a good and responsive zoom?

Look: The 150-400 canon F4 to f5.6 weighs 1,4 Kg. Reach: 240-640 mm.
Panny's 100-300 F4 to F5,6 weighs 500 gram....Reach 200-600 mm. This puts things into perspective.

A 100-250 mm F4 is nt going to be huge an heavy.
A 15-275 mm F4 Oly won't be either.

All I need actually is the 100-300 mm MKII. MKII for much better AF. That is all I need. That lens with somewhat better IQ and F4 would ideal.

And it would most certainly have a very good place in the mFT line up: it is here where huge gains in weight and size can be made. again: just look at that Canon version....at 1,4 kG vs 500 gram!

Panasonic shuld not disregard the wildlife and sportshooting community. Revise the 45-200 and 100-300 with good AF OR provide faster versions (glass) for those lenses. If they do this, mFT is indeed a system that cannot deliver what DSLRs can...Not a good moniker.
