What lenses do we need?

We would be already there. But like many including myself have said: it is not fast enough. It a less than reasonable job from that perspective on the GH4. It seems ot be doing worse on the EM1. If they would revise that one, the IQ is really good enough. Making it F4 with that FL would result in a 800 gram lens or so I think. I'd prefer a 100-250 mm f2.8 -f4 or f3.5 constant which would probably weigh the same.

In the end, Panasonic ideally would have made a 35-125 mm f2.8 and a 125-250 F2.8 to F4. The first would be larger and heavier of course, but not as big as the 40-150 Oly and the second would be less bulky than a proposed 100-250 f2.8 to F4. I think 100-250 mm f2.8 to F4 might be difficult to keep reasonably small. Just too much whereas 125-250 would be just alright (very personal of course).

When you look at the Oly 50-200 F2.8 F3.5 it weighs 1 kilo. That is lens with very good IQ. Making it for m43s seems to make all similar lenses smaller in the first place and getting to F4 rather to F3.5 helps too. 750 gram for the lense smentioned above is the max I would liek to carry I think.
