Another point worth mentioning is the eye color. which often changes as they mature. For Cooper's and Sharp-shinned they start off with a yellow-ish color like your photos. When they reach adulthood (about 12 months) their eye's turn a more orange color that will progress to red or red-orange. This at least helps identify the bird as immature, which gives you a starting point for other field marks.
