8-16mm f/4 THAT TAKES FILTERS

I need an ultra wide angle lens that has a proper filter thread. 8-16mm seems ideal to me, and f/4 is good enough, as night sky/landscape shooters will probably go for the upcoming Olympus 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO. Even if it's variable aperture, I don't really care - as long as it's rugged (because it will be a landscape photographer's tool, so it needs to withstand rough weather), super sharp (the Panasonic 7-14mm already is), controls flare pretty well (the Panasonic 7-14mm isn't particularly great at that) and, I'll say it a third time - has a filter thread! (The Olympus 9-18mm has one, but it's a cheaply built lens and is just a smidge too tight in my opinion, I'd love to see 8mm.)

I need a standard zoom lens that's more versatile in focal length range than the 12-40 / 12-35 mm, but isn't f/3.5-something like the 12-50mm is. It also needs to be weather sealed, and not a power zoom only lens. Basically, a Micro version of the Four Thirds 12-60mm f/2.8-4. Doesn't have to be these exact specs, but something similar.

And finally, teleconverters!
