I think it's safe to say that with 1.7Gbps+, the wifi transfer rate probably won't be the bottleneck in getting images from the camera to the device. Even 1GBps equates to about 5 RAW images per second from a K-5. That's almost as fast as it shoots them! 2.5GBps is also about as fast as a UHS-2 card. According to Wikipedia, those max out at 312MBps.
