Not to beat a dead horse - and your comments essentially answer this - but how have you found AF speed and image quality with the sigma 300 f/2.8 and just a single one of those new Pentax converters? I'm assuming it's quite good, if stacked converters can produce good results.

IMO and in a word, "Excellent".
