So there you have it. Both sides are viable.

D800 - More resolution allows for greater detail and ability to crop. Better Dynamic range at lower ISOs. It costs less and is smaller and lighter when you want it to be.

D4s - Faster FPS, better auto focus, superior DR at higher ISOs and a low-light champ. It has a full size pro body that feels more solid than the D800/grip combo.

It's nonsense for anyone but a fanboy to try insisting that ANY of the above is not required at times. All of the strengths above are useful at times for shooting any event, assuming the shooter is versatile with their skills.

The obvious answer is to get both. But to me it's all about GETTING the shot. Now which camera is the fastest and best focusing????

D4s for the win. If you have a real business the difference in cost is not very significant.
