Your images need attention to framing and color balance. Try to frame the shots so that they do not include too much "information" outside the area of the main point of interest. The dog next to the fence, for example, would have benefited by cropping closer to it and getting more of a close up.

The close up of the dog needed to have been color corrected (white balance) it looks too pale in comparison to the other areas of the image. Next time bracket the shot (1/2 under, standard,1/2 over) to find one that works best.

Depending on your camera you can try Automatic Exposure Bracketing or AEB. This is a setting that allows your camera to take three pictures with one shutter release and each at a different exposure setting.
