It's more important how an image looks as a thumbnail than how it looks at 100%.

Lenses: good question.

Kept my 50mm f/1.8 and 70-300 mm VR, which, by the way, I had intended on replacing but amazed at how great it performs with the 800e.

Added the amazing Sigma 35mm 1.4 "art" lens, the Nikkor 105mm macro, and Nikkor 24mm. (If I could have only one lens, that Sigma might be ahead of whatever is in second place!)

Had been advised to get the Tamron 24-70, but based on all the reviews/advice, decided to lean toward quality, not necessarily expensive, primes...and let my feet do the zooming.
