Re: EPM2 or EPL5?

neither. wait for the E-PL7. check out the leaked manual:

as someone else mentioned, both the epm2 and epl5 have 16:9 screens -- one of the most bone-headed design decisions possible. makes for a very small viewing area if you're using a proper aspect ratio like 4:3 or 3:2 or 1:1.

if we're to believe this illustration, it looks like olympus noticed their errant ways. they've also added a control ring around the shutter -- far better than the fiddly ring on the backs of the epm2 and epl5.

since you mentioned useability rather than price as the (implied) higher priority, i wouldn't bother with 'good deals'. i've gone down that road before and regretted it, wishing i'd just had a little more patience for the better (if higher priced) product.

My EPL1 died (LCD cracked after drop). So I am looking for replacement, with the better 16MP sensor. I a in doubt between EPL5 and EPM2 (price nor far apart).

The EPM2 is a bit lighter, but I am worried about "handling", would not like to dive in menu for setting exposure comp and aperture. EPL1 was not ideal in that area either, but I got used to it.
