Medium Format Lenses on the A77 (I) and A99

Hi Guys,

I have these two cameras and was thinking of using two kinds of adapters to mount Mamiya 645 lenses on my Alphas:

1) a simple adapter (no tilt, no shift, no glass);

2) Mirex tilt-shift adapter.

Well, all in all, I don't have any medium format lenses and never shot with such a camera, hence my doubts:

1) IQ. Being older lenses (therefore, cheaper!), will it be ok?

2) relative (perceived) focal lengh, that is, being medium format a, for instance, 50 or a 80 mm will "look" like what on my APS-C or FF cameras?

3) does anybody have effectively used such "mount" and have photos to share?

4) the mirex adapter used to be 299, but now it's 399 EUROS (some 500 dollars). Any other ideas that wouldn't be that high?

5) instead of the Mamyia lenses, what about the Pentax 645 lenses? Any thoughts? Advantages? Drawbacks?

Sorry about the great many questions, but perhaps that would make things easier to someone who wishes to reply.

BTW, I shoot mostly commercial (studio) photographies and also some architectural too.
