VF-3 vs VF-4

I would like to add a viewfinder to my bargain basement E-PM2, which I bought recently for $199 with the kit lens. I find there are available a VF1, VF2, VF3, and VF4; Amazon shows the VF2 as more expensive than the VF4 (which is $230). Is there any conventional wisdom about which of these is most appropriate for the E-PM2? Thanks.

(I did try to search the forum to see if this question had already been beaten to death and did not come up with an answer.)

The VF-3 is the cheapest smallest lightest viewfinder, convenient to use but the quality sucks. It is overpriced relative to the quality.

I don't have a VF-4, but the viewfinder in my E-M5 blows away the quality of the VF-3, and the VF-4 is said to be even better than the viewfinder in the E-M5.

I'd say that if you prefer to compose using the LCD and only want the viewfinder for special situations like bright sunlight where it's hard to see the LCD, then the VF-3 can fulfill that role, and if it's on sale it might be a good buy.

If you want to use the viewfinder all the time, you should get the VF-4.
