The imaging division aside, the company as a whole is a mess.

They will continue to lose TV market share as long as they continue with their indecipherable  names. Years ago  it was EX  (representing a matte screen) 621 (representing the generation) / 52  (size). I own a half dozen of them in various sizes.  The new models  give you none of that, in fact if you call up Sony the answer  folk don't even know how to decipher the names.  People don't like to buy what they do not understand.  Simplify  the branding and provide straightforward  documentation.
