Great out of camera jpegs.

This is a great all-rounder. The OOC Jpegs are nice and you can tweak the noise reduction, sharpness and other settings if you want. The best feature is the click wheel around the lens. In Aperture Priority mode it is used to adjust the aperture. If you flick the switch on the front it can then be used for manual focus. It then moves freely with no clicks and works perfectly for focus. I use the manual focus for video as this provides a solution to the camera's only serious flaw: the annoying sound of the autofocus motor during video. It's a little bulky for a compact, but that's due mainly to the articulating LCD screen. I don't mind because it's helpful when taking macro shots. Like others have said, the Olympus menu system takes a bit of getting used to, but it does allow a high degree of customization.
