70-200/4 + flash or 85/1.8 for indoor child photos?

I bought a D800 + 35/1.4 because I wanted to shoot my child indoor without flash. I thought the f/1.4 would do the job, but I found:

  • f/1.4 is hard to focus
  • f/1.4 has too shallow Depth-of-Field for close portraits
  • Indoor lighting is mostly boring

So I bought an SB-700 flash, loving the bounce light. Next, I need a tele, considering:

  • 85/1.8 for its low price and weight
  • 70-200/4 for its versatility (rented the 2.8 and found it too heavy for running around the house). This lens is so slow that indoor I'd need to flash every single time.

What do you think?
