WHY DOES SONY (and Nikon and Canon) plan for you to need to upgrade every six months or so

YES, it's called planned obsolescence

That's how the company keeps selling new cameras, and to hell with the older models. They're old technology from six months ago and nobody want that old stuff.....

It doesn't matter that we spent thousands, you gotta do it again. How else are these companies going to make record profits, or they could make the product as good as possible and put out software and firmware updates so you can stay current. I guess that's just too much to expect.
