Off Camera Flash for NikonD800
I'm very new to flash and studio lighting as I shoot portraits with natural light and a reflector however I'm wanting to venture into the unknown and need some help/suggestions!
I currently have a NikonD800 and an SB600 speedlight (that I never use).
In short, I want to be able to put my speedlight into a soft box outside (no bulb/wires) and shoot my camera as the flash goes off in the soft box a few feet away. How do I do this and what do I need to do it? Do I need to buy a remote or a new speedlight altogether? Explain it to me like a 5-year old please because I tried Googling and I am hopeless...THANK YOU!
