Considering Upgrading From My T1i

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some helpful insight and feedback on upgrading my T1i.

I have had the T1i since it came out - 5-6 years maybe? I consider myself an avid photographer, a lot of portraits for friends and family members, landscapes, trips, animals, flowers etc. I have only recently started to use the HD video on it with my newborn son.

However now that I feel quite comfortable with my T1i I am starting to be consistently unhappy with noise levels, low light quality, focus consistency and the speed of the camera reading, waiting for loading etc.

I am very strongly considering a body upgrade to improve upon all areas of my photo taking and eventually more video.

I saw the thread about upgrading from the T1 to the T5 but I am looking for more than that, a more significant improvement.

I have been eyeing the Canon 70D but I am not 100% certain if it is worth it or if I will see significant improvements.

Slightly higher mp, a supposed newer image sensor, moving touch screen, higher fps, more focus points etc.

I have the kit 18-55, 55-250 and I have the 50 prime - all of Canon's three cheapest lenses if memory serves. I know my lenses aren't helping my situation and I would be better served upgrading my lenses but I was wondering specifically on the body upgrade

T1i to a 70D - is it worth it? Will the differences be that noticeable?

Or is there something else you might recommend for that price range?
