the canon 100d imo isn't very good for video, no tilting the screen, the live view af is sluggish, and you don´t have more then 30 fps mode either, plus no peaking, zebras etc. I´m actually selling it because I´m not to happy with the video limitations of it.

These aren't big deals for me (laggy live view might be a bit annoying though). The NX20 was only 30fps anyway, the file sizes at 1080p @60fps are probably pretty huge I think.

I never used the flip/tilt function on the NX20 when shooting video. I think I used it about twice for doing a "selfie" type snapshot with the kids and that was it.

Whilst I am reasonably serious about taking decent photos, my video requirements are pretty casual.

I just want to flip a switch, get a couple of minutes of my kids, or pets, doing something daft and then watch it without a lens motor or OIS whine interfering with the experience, whilst taking advantage of the image quality of a DSLR or system mirrorless. I also don't want to carry a separate camcorder to do that.

I like the sound of the Sony NEX6, but after having gone to look at some Canons again recently, the menus and controls are just so much more natural. It feels like you are using a camera rather than a gadget.

The STM lenses seem to do the business too...
