Re: Canon 135 F2L for candid shots

I am not a wedding/event photographer, but when I want to get good candid images, at a gathering of people, the 135L is the first lens that comes to mind. If there is a "best" situation for the 135L, candid shooting may well be it. The 135L is a major reason I shoot two brands of cameras, and am unlikely to ever settle upon Nikon. I like the 135L on both cropped and "full-frame" Canons.

I wear a badge and pistol, and, primarily with 7D cameras, with an EF-S 10-22mm and 100mm Macro L, make evidentiary images at night, which incorporates elements of portrait, macro, still life, landscape, architecture, and PJ. During personal time, I enjoy using both Canons and Nikons.
