D4s as a first camera, where to start?

Hi all,

This is my first post so go easy

I've just bought myself a D4s, together with a 24-70 2.8 and a 50 1.4, I'm very much a beginner and I appreciate the camera is a bit of an indulgence!

Taken a few shots with both lenses, the 50 I'm really impressed with as it's very sharp.

My question I guess is where do I start? I've read the manual and tinkered with the settings but do you guys have a path that you follow in terms of photography skill? How do you know when you're ready to go to the next level? I'm obviously a complete beginner but would be interested to hear what the best way to start is.
