A new respect for my 5DII

I recently purchased a Fuji X-E2. I like it. It does a very good job. Like many Canon owners I find my Canon equipment getting much less usage than they used to.

Every spring when the flowers come out so do the bumble bees gathering nectar.

Every spring I try my best to get an image of a bumble bee approaching a blossom that is worth printing and putting on the wall.

On this particular morning I had my X-E2 & 55-200 out as well as my 5DII & 400mm/f5.6. I did get OK shots from the Fuji. But...

Considering that the bumble bee-1 image is 6% of the original image how the Canon camera/lens on AI Servo mode tracked this guy through the leaves is to me is totally amazing.

Bumble Bee - 1

One more image from this episode also on Canon.

Bumble Bee - 2

To be fair the Canon did have the advantage of a tripod
