Steve, I was referring to all the comparison scenes previously posted from Imaging Resource, at http://www.imaging-resource.com/IMCOMP/COMPS01.HTM .

Imaging resource does not have an image from the new 60x FinePix S1. The images shown are from the older, larger-sensor, 26x X-S1 . . . a completely different camera.

Ok, I'm confused since IR shows both the X-S1 and the S1 images. I'm interested in the Oly SP100. My local camera store has the Oly in stock and I did get to snap a few shots with it to my SD cards..looks very promising. The build quality looks/feels good and the EVF is excellent. Wish any shop had the Fuji S1, but it seems they only carry the entry level S2900-4900 ones.

I have tested about 7 cameras in the shops twice now. I found the Olympus sp-100 focused well , nice to hold but its image quality didn't quite match the Nikon p600 or Canon sx50. In the images the Olympus had nice colors, quite sharp but photos seemed slightly nosier and didn't reveal the finer details like the canon or nikon cameras.

Cheers

Steve.
