Best all-purpose ~35mm(kino equivalent) lens for the A6000?

Hi,
I'm picking up A6000 pretty soon, and want to get a another lens in addition to the 16-50 kit lens. I do mostly street photography so I'm thinking ~35mm(kino equiv.) prime. What's my best option? I would like to keep it under ~$500 and compact size, but I'm willing to go for higher price and larger size if needed.
First I thought about dissing the kit and just going with the 16-70 Zeiss but what I've heard is that while it's good it's really overpriced.
