Weather that's conventionally regarded as bad or at least not so good has helped me a lot. I wonder if this may be true for others.

For instance, this place in good weather looks like this.

And you don't want to see what the fog hid in the distance - this is central downtown, actually the area's name is "Central" followed by the town's name.

And this would be terribly mundane (as the hundreds of pictures one could find online show) in good weather without the heavy smog.

14-42 set to widest end, two images stitched in hugin, an almost precisely 90 degree view.

What's your experience? I've found that the only element of weather I don't like is strong wind, esp. when trying to photograph flowers.

This is rainy without wind.
