Porth Nanven 75 second exposure in B&W

Hi all,

Just returned from Cornwall again and have lots of images to look at as usual.

I arrived at Porth Nanven on Saturday at 5.40am on a windy morning.

The tide was almost all the way out at this time so getting on the beach was easy but i had a westerly wind coming in from the Atlantic which made things tricky to say the least with lots of sea spray.

Here's one image taken for 75 seconds using a 10 stop lee filter.

This one was taken a little later obviously when the light was much brighter.

I was intending on trying to keep the image in colour but the colour noise was far too much so i was forced to convert to B&W.

I'm hoping the Quattro maybe an improvement with regards to the noise but we will have to see in the coming weeks how the new sensor performs in this regard.

Well here's the B&W image from Saturday morning.

Kind regards Lea.
