Share the Experience photo contest
I have an issue with this contest sponsored by some big names including the National Parks. The rules state on page 3 ""All entries, including photograph(s) submitted, become the property of the Sponsor and Administrator, and none will be acknowledged or returned.”This seems very wrong to me and policies like this are terrible for photographers.
You need to look beyond the quotation that you posted, as it only relates to disposition of submissions. And it's fairly common in various contests.
Within the Ts & Cs should be statements related to photo & rights ownership - who retains copyright, if the submitter is granting a license for unrestricted use of the photo(s), etc.
