The advantage of mirrorless AF...

To me, one of the big advantages over PDAF systems is that when shooting very low light situations, mirrorless is either spot on or way off -- by far most of the time, spot on.

With PDAF systems you end up with a fairly good number of slightly soft images that might look good at the time of capture on the LCD, but later either get canned, or require extra sharpening effort in PP.

With mirrorless, it's pretty easy to edit on the fly as focusing errors are clearly obvious and an image can be deleted on the spot and/or reshot with correct focus.
