Tony,
Thanks for the link, I actually looked at your photos a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, as you are aware of, a significant number of them are taken with other lenses, not the 14-42 kit.
I bought the camera because the price was so good. After i ordered it i did online research, with most review sites and many individuals saying how poor the kit lens was. I then viewed images i could find online using the kit lens and didn't find many that were really good examples of what the lens could do and what I like to shoot. The shipping company, Ontrac, informed me yesterday that they lost the package and I'm waiting for them to notify Newegg that they lost it so that Newegg can either send me another one or just refund my money.
What should have been a simple purchase is now complicated by Ontrac losing the camera. Finding someone who has both cameras and has done the analysis would have been great, and is often the case on DP boards, but not in this situation that i can locate by searching.
Regards,
Joel
Weird... I ordered mine last Thursday and it arrived yesterday, delivered by UPS.....
The lens in the LX7 MIGHT(probably) be better....the sensor in the E-PM2 is definitely better...
2 quickies from work today... tried to get close per your earlier request.... I'm keeping mine...

Dwight,
Thanks for the images. Ontrac found the camera and promised to have it here tomorrow morning. I'll keep it and hope for the best. Worst case i sell it for ~$200 and make someone else happy.
Joel
