Re: To A6000 after RX10.

Forget the 16-70mm if you are keeping your RX10, the advantage you get will be minor at best, it is quite expensive and doesn't have as much range (24-105mm vs 24-200mm).

I would use the a6000 to take advantage of the IL to get focal lengths and looks you can't get on the RX10, so the 10-18mm you mentioned and some fast primes for low light and DoF, such as the 35mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.8. Keep your RX10 as your zoom lens.

Thank you!  So nice and practical recommendations! Pretty sure will follow them. Tomorrow will pickup my first (sure I have basic 16-50, 3,4-5,6) 10-18 F4. Already read a lot of good reviews about. Then will upload my first shots with it. Actually I did trying A6000 but after RX10 not to much impress yet.

It was always my dream to have one such a wide zoom... Wow.

Some try w. bace lens.  Our marine In Stamford, CT. Looks not to sharp (to me).

a good choice, I think you will be quite happy with a6000 + 10-18mm + 50mm and RX10 for everything else. Plus far less lens swapping.

For me I have RX10 for video and as my 'zoom' lens as I pretty much only use primes with all my cams.
