Is your problem… just the grip?

I think this camera, with its tremendous qualities as a photograph tool - deserves other type of considerations…

What I wrote is supposed to be something like a review. You do not expect DPreview to have a "problem" with a certain camera, don't you? It is up to the person who reads the review whether to recognise a statement as a problem or mark it as "don't care". That is why there are so many cameras and each one has a customer.

Yep, I do think there is an issue with the camera if while holding it, you're pressing on the control elements that you're not supposed to be pressing on. Some people would surely call it "annoying". They would then probably go and buy the GR1-DC1A grip, but hell, some lucky Canon buyers will be surprised that the camera no longer fits into a CSC-G3 bag they've just purchased.

Is it a problem? Some say - hey Canon grip designers may still be a gang of moronic individuals, but I don't care, since the engineers are good. For others it may be important.
