I'm considering a range of cameras, but as I go through the samples that are provided by dpreview one impression always repeats itself. The sample photos available for Nikon, Canon, Olympus and Pentax cameras from dpreview's reviewers are always less interesting than those provided for the Sigma DP2 and SD1 cameras. I suppose this may come down to a few factors, for instance the reviewer may be a fan of Sigma cameras, or the subjects may be less likely to move so sharper, or the sensor may provide an interesting look, or the camera (DP2) may be more portable and therefore more interesting subjects are reachable. Or the reviewer just happens to have talent.
