I'd love to see Fuji do something in this focal length as well. But, honestly, I have trouble seeing anyone really beat the Olympus 75mm (which is a bit longer at 150mm equivalent, but I find it similarly useful), which is insanely sharp even wide open at f1.8, focuses like lightning on the newer m43 bodies (which also have incredible face detection capabilities - best I've seen), and is really small in comparison. It's about the size of the Fuji 14 and I have trouble imagining Fuji coming up with anything close without being notably larger than the 56mm, which is already a pretty large lens...

Ray, I am myself a long time m43 user who shot hundreds if not thousands of shots with Oly 75/1.8 and I agree it is a gem and the most interesting lens for m43 I've used (but I have not experienced the 42.5/1.2). I pretty much always shot the 75/1.8 wide open because it is incredibly sharp wide open.  However, don't forget if Fuji comes up even with a 85/1.8, in terms of ability to use thin DOF and blur the background it will kill the Oly 75/1.8.
