SX700 low light - ISO 800 only

The best way to capture static subjects in low light is with a slow shutter and low ISO, but its not always possible.

Here are some typical low light shots - indoors, evening and night. I walked around like a tourist and shot these hand held.

P mode and ISO 800. I let the camera do the rest. It got as slow as 1/8 sec, but it was fine.

Low light action shots require faster shutter and ISO 1600 and higher.  But as a tourist sight-seeing pocket camera for day and night, its a pretty decent travel zoom.
